Tell us what this sheet gets wrong
A catalogue copied out of 16 makers’ spec tables goes stale in a specific way: a fill weight is revised between model years, a pad is retested and gains two tenths of an R-value, a bag is quietly discontinued. Nobody here would catch that before the person who owns the thing does. This form goes to the pair who keep the catalogue.
What comes in, and what happens to it
- A figure that is wrong
- A fill weight that changed mid-model-year, an R-value revised after a retest, a girth measurement copied from the wrong size. It gets checked against the maker's current spec page and corrected at the source, which moves the catalogue date for everyone.
- A model that should be here
- Especially from the small workshops — a quilt maker with a three-month lead time is easy to miss and is often exactly what somebody is searching for. A model goes in once its maker publishes enough of a spec table to fill a row honestly.
- A snapshot price that has drifted
- Prices here are approximate snapshots from the last update, so they drift. A note that one has moved is useful even without a link.
- A night that contradicts the page
- The thing a spec sheet cannot hold: a bag that slept colder than its rating, a pad that failed at a seam, a strap system that did not hold. It goes to the owner section under its own heading, never into the specification.
Two people do this around other work, so a reply can take a while — but a correction that lands gets made whether or not anyone writes back first, and the catalogue date moves with it. Last updated September 2026.
